The 2006 Wild Boar Hunting Season is open from
18 September 2005 to 31 January 2006.
The lodge is set into an estate extends for 400 hectares through
a valley that overlooks the Tyrrhenian coast. The hunting is practiced
to the ends of conservation of the equilibriums of the local fauna
and in the accordance with the plan agreed with the Provincial Administration
of Pisa.
The beauty of the trophies and the strong and healthy aspect of
the animals have had to a rich atmosphere of minerals that the wind
bring from the sea to the typical Mediterranean vegetation and a
daily feeding with maize come scattered regularly on whole territory,
also far away from the hunting areas.
The adult wild boars catch up the 100 kg very rarely, they have
often the shining mantle and they show tusks of considerable measure.
All the fallows deer have a beautiful dappled coat that it begins
to disappear in the winter season. The mufflons' horns are incredibly
strong in order to the cranial attack. The horns ' tips do not
flake demonstrating that they live in an ideal atmosphere with
a very balanced nutriment. The red deer have imposing bodies and
crowned trophies. The roebucks have beautiful trophies but it
is difficult to see them since they are timid and they endure
the intrusiveness of all the other animals
