Without
doubt, during your stay you will want to visit the famous art cities
such as Florence, Pisa and Siena.
An unmissable view is from the yard of Chiesa di San Miniato a
Monte, a church that dates from the 13th Century and lords over
the city of Florence. |
 |
 |
In addition to the wealth of
art and history to be found in Florence, the city also offers the
world's best shopping with boutiques such as Prada, Gucci, and
Florence's own Emilio Pucci.

| Sightseeing
in the area
If you would like to spend a day by the sea
we suggest the coast resort of Marina di Pisa with beaches
and services at a reasonable cost, or Livorno which has rocks and
blue sea.
For a day in the country with art we suggest a visit to Fiesole,
a hill top town. It has museums, churches and wonderful villas. Here,
in The Convent of San Domenico lived the monk and famous painter Beato
Angelico.
Carry on towards Mugello-Valdisieve, during the journey which is about
30 km, you will find Borgo San Lorenzo, famous for white truffles,
Marradi and Vicchio, birth place of Giotto (a visit to his
home is a must), and Beato Angelico to whom there is dedicated
a museum.
